All-in-One/Pocket nappies have a waterproof layer attached making them the easiest and most convenient type of nappy to use. They are not quite as 'bomb proof' as a Two Part nappy but their simplicity makes them a popular choice and they are an ideal choice for popping in the changing bag.
All-in-Ones have an absorbent inner attached to a waterproof outer layer. Pocket nappies have a waterproof outer layer attached to a fleece inner, there is an opening between the two into which absorbent boosters are inserted. Once this is done they are like an All-in-One to use, but can be separated to enable quicker drying. They have the advantage that they can be stuffed with as much or as little material as required and the fleece inner means that there is no need to use a liner.

Using a sized nappy ensures you get a great fit whatever age/size your baby is. They usually work out a little more expensive as more than one set is required. But, if you are planning to use your nappies on more than one child then sized nappies work out more cost effective in the long run as the nappies are worn for less time so will be in better condition for the next child.

Often called Birth-to-Potty, these nappies adjust in size (usually by a set of poppers down the front) to fit from birth until your child is potty trained. They tend to be very bulky on newborns, which can effect containment as a good fit can be hard to achieve.
